Average airport ATFM delays at the top 30 European airports increased from 1.06 to 1.21 minutes per arrival in the first nine months of 2019,
mainly due to airport capacity issues. The highest average airport ATFM delay was observed at Amsterdam Schiphol, Athens, Lisbon and London Gatwick airport.
